OF A/C INDUSTRIAL SERVICES CORPORATION

PRESS RELEASE

CHICO, CALIFORNIA

October 1, 2007

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE—NRC Environmental Services, Inc. (NRCES) announced today the acquisition of A/C Industrial Services Corporation (A/C), a privately held fully integrated environmental management and engineering firm, serving public and private organizations on the US West Coast for over 20 years.

The A/C acquisition greatly complements NRCES’ existing Northern California operations. In addition to over ten new highly skilled employees, A/C also brings asbestos abatement to NRCES’ arsenal of services. Strategically located in Chico, California, A/C is well positioned to provide rapid and efficient services throughout Northern, Central, and Eastern California. By combining the existing strengths of A/C with the talent and resource depth of NRCES, the company expects rapid growth and service expansion in Northern California.

“This move comes at an important time,” said Todd Roloff, NRCES Vice President. "Many NRCES customers have been requesting that we augment our presence in the geographic area currently serviced by A/C. With this acquisition, NRCES will both meet the needs of existing customers as well as provide additional services to those that need them in the northern California region. ”

NRCES also looks forward to being part of the Butte County community with its operation of the Butte County household hazardous waste collection facility. NRCES will continue its commitment to responsible business practices at this facility and with its overall operations.
